Two to three months is comfortable for most journeys. For Raja Ampat, Komodo in high season, or anything over the New Year period, four to six months gives us the pick of the boats and the rooms. That said, we've put together good journeys in a fortnight — it's worth asking.

Yes. Your curator stays with you on WhatsApp for the whole journey, and most days can be reshaped as you go: a slower morning, an extra night somewhere you like, a dinner moved to another evening. A few things are fixed once booked, such as domestic flights, liveaboard boats in Raja Ampat and national park permits. We tell you which those are before you confirm, so you know exactly what can still move.

Your proposal lists everything, line by line, before you decide. As a rule it covers hotels, private guides and drivers, transfers, boats and domestic flights, and the experiences we have arranged for you. International flights, travel insurance and personal spending are not included. Nothing is added afterwards. Once you approve the route, your curator sends a payment link; the website itself does not take payments.

Yes. Every journey is built around the people travelling, so the pace, the length of each drive and the amount of walking are set by you, not by a programme. Tell us the children's ages, or anything we should know about mobility or health, and we design accordingly: shorter transfers, rooms without stairs, a boat instead of a trek. Where a place truly requires a long walk, such as Wae Rebo on Flores, we say so and suggest an alternative.

You message the curator who built your journey, and we sort it out. Because one person holds the whole plan, a boat, a driver or a night's stay can be rearranged without you explaining everything again to someone new. We ask every guest to hold travel insurance; for treks, diving and other active programmes, please check that your policy covers them, as standard policies often do not.

No. The initial consultation and travel proposal are free. You pay only for the services you choose. The trip cost depends on your route, accommodation, number of guests, transport and activities.

Yes. You could combine Bali with a Komodo cruise or a journey through Java. We plan the route and arrange travel between islands around your interests and the time you have.

We’ll create it for you. Tell us who’s travelling, how much time you have and what you have in mind. We’ll usually send an initial proposal within one to three days.

Enquire through our website or message us on WhatsApp. We’ll discuss your plans, then put together an itinerary and cost estimate. Once you’re happy with the programme, we’ll confirm your accommodation, transport and guides.

That depends on where you’d like to go and what you’d like to do. We’ll advise on the seasons and sea conditions. If your dates aren’t ideal for your chosen destination, we’ll suggest alternatives.

The weather, wildlife sightings and whether local ceremonies will take place. We choose locations and dates carefully, taking the seasons and local calendars into account, to give you the best chance of enjoying the experiences that matter to you.
